The Joseph Harmon Chavis Family Reunion will be held Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Beaver Creek Baptist Church in Neeses, South Carolina. Crystal Davis (President) welcomed everyone to the reunion. Ricky Williamson blessed the food. After lunch, Betty Williamson (Secretary) took the children outside to paint pumpkins. Inside, adults played fall trivia games. Raffle prizes were awarded and special guests also received a small gift. The oldest person in attendance was Vermelle Chavis (90). The youngest in attendance was Isla O’Neal (8 Days Old). The person who traveled the furthest was Mary Torrence from Myrtle Beach. Barry Chavis guessed 235 Hershey Kisses were in the jar and won the candy jar. At the business meeting, Crystal Davis was elected President. Carolyn Chavis Phillips was elected as Vice President. Cindy Herrington was elected Treasurer. Imagen Kinard was elected Secretary and will serve her first year with Betty Williamson. Jaxon Slippy bid everyone farewell and Henry Chavis closed the reunion in prayer.
